You couldn’t lose me if you tried.
I don’t watch SNL a whole lot. But I did this past Saturday because I found out that Vampire Weekend was going to be the musical guest. Ezra Koenig is so cute and talented and I wish he was my boyfriend. Amy Adams was really annoying, but her intro was really funny. One of the regulars looks a little like her, so they pretended that they hated each other and sang “Loathing” from Wicked. That’s my favorite song from Wicked. That and “Defying Gravity.” They also made fun of Hilary’s ad about the phone call at night. It was hilarious. Yesterday I watched 4 or 5 episodes of In Treatment. And I watched my first ever episodes of Entourage, which I loved. I wouldn’t mind Jeremy Piven being my boyfriend either…
I started listening to Beach House. There was a little about them and their new album, Devotion, in the last Rolling Stone. It’s good music to read to. I’m almost done with Mirror, Mirror. Next I’ll go for Everything is Illuminated. This’ll be the fourth or fifth time that I’ve started reading it. But now that I own it, I’ll actually read it all the way through. Apparently people who love the book hate the movie. But I absolutely love the movie.
Today I’m going to see Be Kind Rewind. I still want to see Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and Starting Out the Evening. And I really really want to see 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days once it comes out on the 21st.
Did I ever mention we’re getting another cat? Well we are. The first weekend in April. She’s 3 and brown and named Kitten.
